Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates will provide Measurement While Drilling (MWD) services to our clients while they are drilling and evaluating at the well-site. MWD engineers assigned to these projects are responsible for all aspects of the MWD data gathering process including, preparation & running of down hole tools, real-time monitoring of MWD measurements and tool functionality, interpretation and dissemination of the MWD data (real-time and post acquisition), downloading of MWD data, preparation & QC of final logs. Pre/post job briefing and reporting as necessary. Performs other job duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements:
Strong computer skills and multiple software experience are needed. Positive attitudeas well asexcellent communication and team work skills are essential. Must be dependable and self-motivated. Must be available to work on rig sites through out the West Coast Area. Valid Drivers License required.
Education/Experience:
Continuing education with an associate degree in Petroleum Technology or Bachelors Degree in Earth Sciences, Computer Science or related Engineering disciplines required. Must have previous MWD operator experience and knowledge ofMWD / LWD software. Preference given to applicants with experience using EM tools.
